Asian Glazed Salmon Fillet

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, sweet chilli sauce, ginger and garlic.

  2. Season salmon lightly with salt, black pepper and secret spice.

  3. Add salmon to the marinade and turn to coat. Cover and marinate for 30 minutes or up to overnight.

  4. Set a pan over medium heat and add some oil.

  5. Place salmon in pan skin side down and melt butter in the pan next to the salmon.

  6. Spoon hot oil and butter over salmon continuously to butter baste. 

  7. After about 5 minutes depending on thickness of the salmon, flip salmon over.

  8. Continue basting and cook for another 3 minutes

  9. Be careful not to overcook the salmon!

  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce 

  • 1 tsp fresh ginger , finely grated

  • 1 garlic clove , crushed

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 30g of butter

  • Salt & black pepper
